New Look...Stale Cricket...

shared by straight point on Saturday, June 28, 2008

inspired by well pitched and nothing much to post to...i decided its time to change...

so here's the new look...

meanwhile cricket keep on going in auto pilot mode...

west indies true to their life style legacy remain casual as ever...sometimes i feel us fan care more for them...and certain stanford will ensure they remain the same....

uncaring...casual...unapologetic...

pakistan continues to play without 'leader' and now without bowlers too...

england finding some excitement...by 'blocking' a run out...new zealand by not shaking hands...

only smith seems excited at the prospect of meeting his old buddy KP at the toss...

KP, meanwhile is trying hard to liven the things up by giving his trademark sound bits to media...

and i...yours truly, like you, is waiting for some real action....

{yawn}

SP, nice to see you back again, and that with the cool new look. I too was wondering about the baby. What was the reasoning behind that? "Fresh-as-a-baby" thoughts on cricket huh?

As for Asia cup, yep, it's dead-boring.

straight point said...

nobody can dispute what cricket god says... thanks CG...

straight point said...

thanks VM...

remember my blog's motto...

simple but straight points...

and now see the baby again...

THANKS SP for the nice comment on me.

Be Honest or say be baby your point is nothing but straight to us. Sorry but no straight is so simple so that a person like me could understand it soon.

If i am wrong prove it here....... (If you don't want to prove it's OK :) )

I think the matches between india vs pakistan can make back asia cup's form in the cricket world.

The form of asia cup and kitply cup was not so good because of some pre-known result matches.

straight point said...

CG...to get back to the same old intensity of india-pak encounters...apart from rationing of india-pak matches...pak team needs to be stronger than they are now...kitply cup not withstanding...

they are in total disarray now...without leader...without bowlers...without any clearly laid game plan or blue print...

i can be wrong but its what looks from distance...

Anonymous said...

yes they must.

First of all my tips to them.

1.) Through the seniors specially yusuf
2.) Respect Lawson
3.) Don't behave like gully cricket
4.) Put drags or say troubles a side
5.) Finally change the captain which knows english a better so that communication is strengthen between coach and skipper

I did implemented such points in my rounding view to my site structure and same may be helpful to the pak team.

Encounter is always a good between India vs Pakistan whether it is real thrilling fight in J&K or a sportsmanship on the cricket ground. The only twist is missing is the old strength.

Finally Pak need a captain like MS DHONI, M Clarke, or G Smith. (Anyone would be sufficent).

Well i have lot to say on this topic but it is off to your post. Would be happy to share such points in the future.

Till then waiting for your next post SP.

you are not wrong.

Either they are not behaving as they have set blue print ( it may be their plan not behave like that ha ha ha...)

Well what you see from far is what i see from TV is same. Shoiab is unenergitic in his body language. I saw Dhoni though loss he didn't shut his mouth like shoiab. Shoiab it is better you give the team to a young leader.

straight point said...

No problem CG...whenever you feel so...

could not agree more with your points...lets see when they will implement it... ;-))

Cool! Now that makes sense, SP. Thanks for clarifying. :)
