few days back i talked about that how someone at bcci needs to see ashes for the sake of test cricket health in india...this is what i noted then...
...that given the right media hype...right venues...and promise of a competitive cricket...test cricket's days are far from over...
one aspect which deserves better packaging in india is the branding of india-australia test series...despite having all the necessary ingredients of cricket's fiercest rivalry...somehow the cricket boards of india and australia are oblivious to the potential waiting to be exploited...
BCC! has initiated a campaign that invites all indian cricket fans to feel fu@king deep...reignite that killer instinct...and spell it out...what all you can lose to win the series...

ask any fan across globe and he would say that this is THE series of modern era...
that game can't ask for better teams playing cricket on given day...
that how he would do whatever it takes to see this series live on tv...if not watching it in stadium...
but not DD...
for them it does not warrant this as case of being 'national importance'...
so we can see india playing timbuktoo live on DD coz that being ODI is perfect example of what it takes to be the case of national importance...
but india-oz TEST series...oh give us a break...we overheard DD official murmuring when asked...
how better it would have been...had somehow word ODI squeezed into this test series...to ring bells in their ears?
what about naming all tests played here, from now on, as...
UNLIMITED OVERS ODIs...
