Shane Warne - Living a Deam !?!

shared by straight point on Friday, April 25, 2008

The list of players realizing their dreams through IPL is getting bigger...and better...

last night Shane Warne was the latest addition to the list...

you may argue that for hardcore professional like warne what could possibly be left there for him to achieve...

then you most probably didn't saw the jubilation after he hit six of second last ball...

most remember him best captain australia never had...

you guessed it right, its the 'captain' shane i am talking about...

though he has captained hampshire earlier...but captaining in IPL carnival...besides so many international stars...its different ball game altogether...

...with humble but gritty team at his disposal...he is making them look like winners when nobody gave them a hoot...

any other team would have melted against the storm of roy innings (like royally challenged did against brendon's) but he had other ideas...

starting from the introduction of pathan to halt the gilly storm...to hitting the six off second last ball...it was the high voltage stuff...

last night he had a match many captain only dreams off...but rarely comes true...

...and the best part is....its only the start...

way to go shane!!

Warne exudes more energy than all those dull head Chargers and their fans put togther - DC aren't a band, just a group of solo artists that don't rock together. Notice VVS with Symonds before that last over - thought he had the game in the bag. Darn it, the bag that is!

NC!

two myth were broken yesterday...

that VVS is good thinker of the game...

that warne would not be good captain...

i dont know its australia's loss or the loss of fans all over the world that we will never see him captaining australian team...

Warne showed the difference a captain can bring to a side. DC has got lots of better players compared to that of RR. But yet DC are yet to win a match and RR are 2nd in the table.

Wonderful cricket player. It was a pleasure watching him bowl during our lifetime.

He's done his bit with the bat as well...

VVS is going by reputations.

I feel his action has changed a bit... he seemed too round-arm now almost malinga like.

vvs and rd, n even gang are looking to prove the world wrong with their t20 skills. if they chilled a bit, it'll fall into place. After the Aussies and a lotta other firangs exit by month end, they will express themselves (as Bishop would say).

NC!!

the more they try, more they will look out of place...as you said they should just chill and look to enjoy it first rather than looking to save their reputations...
