Bhajji and Chartered Plane...

shared by straight point on Monday, April 28, 2008

sources close to bhajji said that like last time this time too it was 'misinterpretation' of words...

instead of 'hard luck' he allegedly heard 'hard @uck'...

hence the slap...

anyway, Bhajji is banned from rest of IPL for doing what others were contemplating to do but had no courage....but now they wont have to worry...

hopefully sree santh too has learnt overtly due lesson...

Hayden and Symods too know what to expect when shaking hands with bhajji next time...

we have learned from our sources close to BCCI that more than the slap...huge charges of 'that' chartered plane did it for bhajji...

BCCI just gleefully accepted the long awaited opportunity...

as for bhajji...

he has more options up his sleeves...

see everybody is happy...

except for certain Mr. Mukesh Ambani...

last heard...he is looking for where to complain for the daylight robbery of his $112 millions...

can you help him...oh sorry...who can help him...?

He has to help himself.

like the alternate pov. this whole affair is a strange one, and there's more to it than meets the eye. Bigtime reality check for cricketers and the admin.
Manjrekar's interview on cricinfo's a thoughtful one.

yes OTT...but i am afraid that time has passed too...

very well said NC...

i think more than the individuals its the defeat of system...who first ignored them for long letting them thinking that they can get away with anything...

Did he really say that? Would kids (albeit in overgrown bodies)know what it is to f...soft or hard?

I'd have been happier if both were dealt with, but in the specific enquiry, it was all about the slap and not the words.

Small change for Ambani...he probably uses that for toilet paper daily. However, he wouldn't like someone upsetting him...so Bhajji better watch out..I doubt if he'll be able to earn a single penny more from cricket/adverts. Guess he will have to fall back on his barber shop and the police job if he still has it.

i just said it as joke SB!!

more than the money i think he will be angry on how he was conned into doing this...after all he too has an image to protect...

as for sardar i think giving him the captaincy was just one more of many stupid things done by MIs...

$112 million is loose change for Ambani. Doesn't matter.

For bhajji, lesson learnt.

On the contrary, I think Moneybag Ambani must be smiling at his prized catch, Bhajji. Consider their performance and tell me -- was there any other way Mumbai Indians could have managed reams of newsprints and so much of TV hours?

Q

i know that this amount wont bother him too much...but as i said he has reputation to save...

how can he let people believe that he was conned into it...??

bhajji has learnt lesson but what about sree?

straight point said...

som

very true.

but MI is not only about bhajji...the whole team and thinking looks doomed...

Q said...

I dont think people will think he got conned. They would think there were very bad people advising him on team selection.

And it'll do him good if he also admits to the fact that they went wrong during the auctions.

straight point said...

yes Q, it never harms you when you admit your mistakes...

but MIs are doing one after another...

and i cant believe that harsha bhogle is party to it...

Q said...

Why is Harsha Bhogles involvement unbelievable?

straight point said...

i cant think that how with 'thinker' harsha bhogle they are doing one blunder after another...starting from auctions till now...

dont you find it unbelievable...Q

Q said...

Honestly I have never associated Harsha Bhogle with smartness. I mean the guy writes really well and makes some good points but that doesn't necessarily make him a strategic thinker of on-field cricket.

During his commentary stints he's usually feeding of Gavaskar and Shastri and all... maybe im wrong but i dont think he can strategize on team selection, game plans, etc.

straight point said...

...and if there was any doubt his stint with MIs is proving/confirming just what you have said Q...

If Bhaji slapped Roy, I am pretty sure it would be one of the last things he ever does.

Uncle...

minor correction...

it would be one of the last things BOTH ever does.

Well a cricket field is not the place to discover your first strands of puberty - flush them.
