the positive side of ipl's pakistan 'snub'...

shared by straight point on Friday, January 22, 2010

the alleged 'snub' of pakistani players by ipl has successfully ignited the 'spark' which was missing from the india vs pakistan encounters of late...

but now i know for sure that when india will meet pakistan next time on cricket field... more than cricket will be played... mother or father of all rivalries will be at its fiercest best like it used to be...

this remind me... even before the men from both sides lock horns in a battle of supremacy the kids from india and pakistan will relive the rivalry in ongoing icc u19 world cup... they will meet tomorrow the 23rd januray for the quarter final match to book semi final birth...

rest assured... its gonna be one helluva match...

I hope the spark is limited to cricket. If it is, then would be welcome.

Aamer and U Akmal are two players I'd like to see Indians pit their wits and skill against.

I thought the intensity was there from both teams in that warm-up game for the Twenty20 World Cup. The bilateral series have lacked drama but India v/s Pakistan games at ICC Tournaments have always been memorable, more so because we have wiped the floor with them on most occasions ;)

hahaha...

the intensity was there but that was of anticipation rather than the match... coz we have beaten them comprehensibly at icc events...

i would love them to play bilateral series in near future...
