a note to sachin and sehwag...

to sachin... if i want to see dravid bat... i would download innumerable clips of him batting from you-tube...

to sehwag... why you are so hell bent on turning afridi with only one gear to work on...?

...but more importantly... where is john wright when we need him most...?

Collaring player...Sehwag to be precise..isn't a full-time job. Wright can surely do that much for us.

exactly som... tho i think he will be more handy than upton in sehwag's case... :)

Yes, that's the danger. Of Sehwag turning into an Afridi. But the chap is wiser than that. Wonder where that wisdom disappears from time to time.

Sachin should be left alone to do his thing as Batsman Emeritus till 2011.

i wonder SB if sehwag can be criticised for his recklessness why not his partner for doing just the opposite just coz he happens to be sachin...?

even the opportunity to overtake australia as the #1 ODI team, was not enough to motivate both these guys to see india through...

Have rarely been so disappointed with both of them.

Raina and Kohli are squandering the opportunities as well.

Against this Aussie team we ought to win the next 3. That should be par for the course

indeed golandaaz i too was deeply disappointed... we have just batted them into this series...

i hope this defeat hurt them enough to keep the focus for next three games left in this series...

Afridi and Sehwag have exchanged their souls, the former has gotten more wiser and the later more reckless.

agree with Wasim. Look at what Afridi did today and in the T20 WC. To suggest that Sehwag is wiser will be hotly debated and rightfully so

he is busy looking to coach his home country.

And Sehwag hasnt got reckless like the Boom Boom Womanizer, he is just back from the injury so i d give him a benefit of doubt to the man from Najafgarh!!

indeed wasim... i watched yesterdays game and must say was almost rubbing my eyes seeing afridi so focused on the job at hand and the way he guided khalid latif... the signs are ominus as he has started taking his role in the team more seriously... now if only he can bring some consistency as pak is in for a long season too it will do world of good for him as well as team pakistan...

as for viru he need a jolt much like wright did to him to bring him back to senses...

golandaaz i will try to put up a debate you have desired...

sam if sehwag can not stay at wicket coz he has come from injury than he should warm bench till the time when he is fit enough to spend time in middle...

One thing I don't understand why Gambhir and Sehwag are not opening together. Why Tendulkar?

Agreed India wants to peg Gambhir at #3 since he is the inform batsman for India but why destroy something which was working perfectly to fix the troubles of the middle order.

Sachin should bat at #3.

wasim... in india it is considered nothing short of blasphemy to talk about sachin not opening... even sachin can not stop himself from opening... so be careful when you say that... :)
