lessons learnt from first warm up game...

- first warm up game...india vs new zealand...

  1. our bowlers avoid using head in death overs...
  2. fielding is as pathetic as before...robbing singh will enjoy england doing nothing...as usual...
  3. rohit opening - no one is indispensable...
  4. gambhir on current form - highly dispensable...
  5. dhoni continues to over rate himself...

(his stumping was most embarrassing dismissal i have seen of late of a front line batsman...i mean how he missed the line...while the ball was going towards leg...he continued to charge on off side...)

  6. yousuf pathan can perform only when warne's around...

(mean what was he doing...he acted like as if he was out on a death row...specially when he tonked the same bowler in ipl with effortless ease...)

  7. irfan pathan - one of the most lucky guy playing at international level...

p.s. som...you have my company now... :)

Naheeeeen. Yeh nahin ho sakta thakur!!

Pathan bros. very inconsistent.

Raina at 3 - no reason to push him down.

Dhoni at 6.. no reason to push him up.

good point sp,
dhoni overrates himself as a batsman, methinks
raina, on current form should bat 3.
about Irfan, i'm still stumped how irfan gets game after game...
maybe he's good at fellatio

wicked prafs!!

yes...he definitely has more 'talent' than appears... ;-)

dhoni has become the victim of flexibility... so much so that it has become inflexible on it...

Dhoni is coming in at #3 because he cant hit those big shots later in the order. People used to call Sourav selfish - what is this? Utter selfishness - sacrificing team interests just to give himself a better chance of getting a decent score at decent strike rate - even there he failed. ha!ha! MS Dhoni - mind it, it will not be long before India sees through your selfish agenda

anon...i am not sure about selfishness bit...

but to me...he was steadying the ship which was sailing smoothly...

Straight - EXCELLENT point about MSD trying to straighten a ship that was sailing smoothly.

It's just that there seems to be no role definition in the team. I know T20 is a little bit of a fast-food type of game, but can't you still have a little bit of planning ? It's a bit of a warning bell as i mentioned in my post. I hope they wake up from the IPL dream and smell the coffee a little.

cheers and welcome fark...keep dropping by... :)

i agree with you even at this abridged version planning is required...and more clearer the roles of players better for team...

hope they have already smelled the coffee and come out blazing guns in next warm up match...
