claps - Yet another former Uthappa fan, way back when he was not even playing for India. At that point, I saw him as a logical replacement for Sehwag. Bah!

straight point said...

ah...another former fan...

scorpy is there chance he will 'find' himself again...?

Robin Uthappa is failure in DLF 20-20 cup.

warm welcome MIP...keep visiting...

yes he has become the synonym of failure in this ipl...

but i really hope that he takes this debacle as stepping stone to build solid future...

IMO Robin Uthappa deserves to be crowned f**ktard incarnate. But thats just my opinion.

he is technically awful. certainly not fit to be an opening batsman. i have seen him get out scooping the ball towards mid off instead of playing it along the ground straight past the stumps innumerable times. And he has been playing this shot right from the time he made his ranji debut till now. If he hasnt been able to correct a basic flaw in his technique for 5 years, i guess he is never going to learn. and he is never going to make it big.

and unlike s few others who have commented, i was never a fan of his.

namya...he still has age on his side and i have seen stranger thing happening...if he can regain his focus and work on his game...anything possible...

do not lose hope... :)

NC...fan of form..(er) uthappa...? :)

A...you are not alone many are thinking in this line after seeing him reduced to caricature in this ipl...

if he has any 'air' about him...this ipl has ensured the land crashing... he can't get any worse than this...

lets hope he picks up...

welcome karthik...

this is his game which has taken him thus far...what i want from him is restrain in shot selection...

as i said earlier here...he needs focus and some intense sessions in nets...the best thing is that he still has age in his side...and its never too late...provided you are ready to go that extra mile... :)

The tragedy is not that he lost his test place and 50-50 place, but the fact that he isn't good enough for the senior T20 side - a format which suited him best.

Perhaps he took the Royal Stag a little too seriously.

he took everything seriously but himself SB!

i hope this ipl is the kick in ass to jolt him to senses...
