somebody needs to be given a rocket, instead they'll just take the plane back home
Slow and steady wins the race is often true.
Ishant and Munaf have been largely ineffective, the Kiwi batting capable of stunning acts, and no point declaring for the weather only to find it will not rain.
Actually if Ishant had held on to O'Brien's catch, they might have been all out before the rain.
Such long tour is bound to see some sort of langour setting in the thinking process. Could have been better but nonetheless a job well done.
The result should have been better --- And I have wondered if RD/Viru were the captain would they have faced so gentle a criticism for tactics?
very aptly put NC!...
Slow and steady wins the race is often true...
true sb.
but at times when opposition is lying on mat dead and buried it doesn't harm you a bit to take that one extra urgent step...
anyteam with same skill set but better fitness and some urgency would have won 2-0 if not complete white wash...
som...wonder why oz and windies did't suffer from this long tour fatigue...
that's why i feel that team with same skill set but better witness would not given us chance to say 'could have been better...' :)
now this is very good question you have raised RS!
no point in guessing what would have been the response...
congrats sp and indians, a fine performance. looks like the msd is going at full throttle now.
who can stop them !?
congrats again sp ! 44 years is a long time to wait !
enjoy the spoils
yes DS...enjoying the spoils...but with pinch of salt... :)
Okay, I confess.
I called up Dhoni and convinced him to continue batting and not declare.
oh my my AMY...how can you do this...?
BTW...welcome to the blog and hope you will keep 'confessing' by... :)
if you want to enjoy the win with a pinch of salt I recommend a slice of lemon and some tequila to go with it...you will enjoy it much more :D
you know what megha...i did exactly that... :)
