carrying on from my post @ BCC!... who says multiple captain is this 'john's' idea...?

so without dwelling into practicality of multiple captains idea...i would like to initiate debate on whether its coach's call to dictate who gonna be the captain...? or it is the captain who take decisions for the team...?

i am from old school of thinking which says that coach is there to help captain, along with team management, in attaining common goals perceived to be good for the team...that's where his role ends...there is no way his role should supersede captain's role in a cricketing setup...

or this is just that a spineless franchisee who though don't have the courage...but wants to get rid of his aging star captain, the darling of locals, without hurting business prospects in that region... hence wants us to swallow anything in the name of 'experiment'...

KKR will be setting a dangerous precedent where captain will be reduced to being a mere puppet blowing hot and cold at the whims and fancies of a coach...which brings me to the question...can we allow coach to make team the guinea pig of his suppressed weird theories which he would not have implemented in a sane setup...?

is this the sign of times to come where coaches in cricket will rise to the powers of say, of football coach...?

Sehwag had his wakeup call day before.

JB's here to promote himself, and somehow he's sweetened the deal for SRK - some big, bollywood twist thrown in. don't put it beyond a cheap, publicity stunt. if not that, then he's more far gone than i thought.

what next? dada and buchanan dancing in a hero bike ad

anything's possible when it comes to money making...

and i feel the the inner desire of srk to get rid of ganguly have made him buy this idea...coz the moment JB would have told this idea to say the chennai franchise he would have been shown the door...

KKR has recd lots of publicity because of this. I also wonder if it has been discussed it with Gayle, McCullum etc. and whether they are on board with the idea.
