rahul dravid is wide of the mark...

Everyone is basing their assumptions on the last tour [in 2002-03], but it was probably an aberration.

rahul dravid

are 'we' ready...? @ BCC!
we believe that rahul is wide of the mark here...
when we have not won a series in nz for more than 35 years...how can another series loss on last tour be an 'aberration'...?

so rahul, previous tour was not...rather this tour is going to be an aberration...

india will win both odi and test series...

well i think he is right.means u can't always blame conditions for loosing.sometimes team also don't play well.if india has to win rahul has to perform.

SP, last few days been hearing a lot of that 'A' word. bet it goes over everyone's head in the indian team - another reason why nobody gets rahul.

kapil wanted to learn english, rahul needs to unlearn it, at least if he wants to stick with this bunch. Think the groundwork for his next stint, as cricket mediaman is underway.

I think what Rahul Dravid was referring to as an aberration was not the series loss, but the dismal manner in which it was lost in 2002-03. At least that is how I interpreted it.

2-0 tests

2-0 T20s

4-1 ODIs....

Agree with anonymous here.

And 2002 series was farce, esp the 99 and 94 one

I hope both Rahul and you are correct - for India's sake.

SB...sounded bit cautious to me...

Compare to the other overseas performances this decade, it was an aberration.

I hope Rahul remembers that his place in the team is that of extreme good faith unprecedentedly shown to no other player in the Indian team. Let him bat his way well before that becomes a serious aberration.
