S Badrinath 200 259 24 4 77.22
this is the score of badrinath in ongoing duleep trophy 2nd semi-final between north zone v/s south zone...with good strike rate too...!
has he found form just in the nick of time...?
or was it too easy there, coz dravid too scored 138...?
ok ok bad joke...but still...

the venue is Rajkot... against a bowling attack that is not the greatest..
ladleful of salt s what I will take this innings with
Cheers,
HOLY ****! Good spot... wth is going on over there.. Dravid and Badrinath added 312 off 345 balls! 23 no balls, 15 by the spinning Amit Mishra who has figures of 26-9-149-2! Thats almost six an over, both. They've ended the day scoring as many runs as are usually scored in two ranji trophy days!
Dravid, Badri getn an IPL net. As was Mishra, under 6 rpo in t20, excellent.
so i got it right homer... ;-D
Yup SP :)
achettup...
dravid to scored way faster than his normal strike rate...no need to explain conditions further... ;-)
hahaha...NC...
mishra will be thanking his stars that this net practice was not organised in sri lanka... :)
My thoughts exactly (minus the skepticism). But doesn't it seem a bit unusual that Dravid got to the three digits faster than Badri? While I shall let you skeptics ramble on, this is a back-to-back century for Dravid, so while there is salt to be had while taking in the innings, one might want to reduce the quantity. :-) Maybe the form is coming back.
Interestingly also, Karthik, another back-to-back centurion coming into this match, scored only 4.
Sheesh! I can't believe there were 4 whiles in that sentence. Sorry, folks. They should have an edit button for comment authors.
yes VM...'while' skepticism apart...there are definite signs that the scene in dom cricket is heating up...
even if the bowling and conditions were not tough you still have to go there and score those runs...
dravid, rohit and dk had back to back centuries...and rhane too is not too far...pujara too did well for his team...all in all a good headache for selectors to have...
folk pitches... All scoring runs greatly.. One should understand bouncy pitches are best to play...
@ Homer. I am not sure but even north zone is scoring at good rate... so its just pitch who is giving away his free respect.
IB i like pitches which give equal chance to both batsmen and bowlers...
but what happens at dom level we dont get 'both' (good batsmen and good bowlers) playing at the same time... :)
Now what? What about Rohit Sharma's twin centuries laden with dropped chances? Absolutely priceless, ofcourse.
Yuvraj scores against a poor England attack and flops all the other times -
Anyway, performances shouldnt matter
He is a genius presumably because he can sell motor bikes and colas in North India.
badri's face - bloody cant sell a cola to his family member. Not worthy of being in the Indian side.
Karthik should do well in NZ. Did well on greentops in RSA and ENG. Jaffer no good whatsoever
anony i can feel your pain...but if he can sell cola better than badri than what can me and you do... ;-D
good observation YM...it is felt that if his secondary skill would not be wicket keeping it would have been easier for him to make inroad into team purely as batsman...
selectors (and dhoni) first see his as wicketkeeper and then look at his batting credential...
