beyond this selection...

so, pujara was not selected...

contrary to the perception of most...i don't think it has anything to do with the selection of yuvraj...

the way i see it...keeping dravid still in team despite his non-show for quite some time now has everything to do with...why pujara was not selected...

let me explain...

after this series our next assignment is playing new zealand on their land or should i say 'lush green' land if past experience of touring there taken into account...and how we struggled then...

they somehow feel dravid still has it in him to deliver on grassy pitches which we are likely to encounter again...while ignoring the very fact that he even struggled on some patta wickets in recent past...

so basically they have given him this series to return back in form or use this series to sing the swan song...

pujara, meanwhile, can wait...

Am disappointed on Pujara :(. Whether Dravid comes good or not, he is through and washed out... I doubt he will and this has to be the last chance given to him on form. Beyond this will be a total sham.

scorpy...this is perfect example of looking far while ignoring present...

nobody backed him, not the selectors nor the press. need some noise around a player, there's always a noise around YS - even the last few days when cricket's been blanked out. imagine.

NC...i wonder they would have even discussed it in meeting...was like they decided long before and met only for stamping it...

you are right...we must raise some noise for him...

I agree with you and Scorpicity.

What purpose will be served for carrying on with players who are still past their twilight. In addition, when the player is out of form too, why not accommodate a player who has at least ten years if not more of cricket in him.

But i still doubt, whether Dravid is shown the door now. He has some Noise around him; as NC likes to call it.
