RIP...PCB?

.

so that player was asif...

surprised? really?

he will be banned...forgiven...then...oh! just forget that...

i would fire every single official of PCB...

why? for asif...?

i sincerely believe that it was PCB who failed to place a thing called system...a system who has bite as well as understanding of what is going on now a days...

they failed to curb, educate and discipline 'greats' like akhtars...asifs...

they have let down all of us and specially pakistan's cricket loving people...to the point that pakistan cricket has become laughing stock now...

take back everything from them...

just eliminate them...cull them...

but don't let them do this to another player...will you?

This is what happens when you focus on short-term gains.

As you rightly pointed out this is going to drag Pakistan cricket through the mud.

if not already OTT?

they fail to tell their players. They must educate the players about the dops and so.

About mud. I think they can only get out of this mud because they are allready in the big dig.

didn't asif look stoned during the games or was he just sleep walking? frankly amazed 3D played him for more than one game. guess 3d team mgt doesn't read body language too well.

Going by the way Pakistan cricket board functions, it is not surprising that for doping the punishment is a mere reprimand and for criticising a PCB official it is a life time ban

Let's wait and see who it is first.

Sample B has to be checked and the samples matched with the player.

So far it is speculation for no names have been taken.

Asif can't be shielded but this is clearly a failure of the system as well. It's not for the first time that a Pakistani cricketer has done something like this. I mean what PCB is doing?

Don't the franchisees have a responsibility as well (especially for second time offenders). I think 3D should also face a penalty - they should not be allowed to replace the banned player - so a hit to their salary cap. What if 3D had won the tournament with Asif playing a major role... Results cannot be changed (oh wait, they can be)

The PCB is an american plant.

And...

Do you like to fight injustice?

Yes, that is truly an exceptional quality you have.

Please sign the Save our Bill Lawry petition to keep the Corporate vultures from ending the career of our favourite excitable one.

its total fault of pcb who is supporting to much their players.

If asif could have banned in 2006, this would not have been in result.

straight point said...

exactly neno...how far they can dig themselves into...

straight point said...

yes gaurav...3Ds didn't read body language too well...ask sehwag?

straight point said...

how apt AB...you can do whatever you want but just don't criticize us is the motto...

straight point said...

SB! it has gone beyond that...they have to accept that pcs has failed...in all department...

and its not a speculation.

true story.

straight point said...

som, banning players who criticize them... :)

straight point said...

interestng angle RS!! very interesting...

on second thought i fully concur with you...they cant step aside this issue and have to own the responsibility...and the punishment you suggest seem justifiable to me...

coz otherwise IPL will have no mean where any player can come has his way and go scot free and same with franchisee...

straight point said...

exactly CB!! that is my point basically... :)

straight point said...

Jrod...thanks for kind words...

i was one of early bird to sign that petition :)

Agreed to the full...we cant blame the players...I know...its very easy to do so...cos they are not kids...well grown men...BUT...and there is a huge BUT...

The PCB should realize that if something like this happens and is still happening...regularly...they are NOT men...they are kids...and need the attention and comfort like a hen gives to her chickens....

Maybe we need a Woman Chairman....now...to be that HEN??

It's naive to think that PCB management was only trying to protect Asif and Shoaib because they were good players, this PCB administration is extremely corrupt, they only reverse their decisions when they get something in return.

If you make a poor management decision once then next time you act wisely, but if you keep on making the same mistake again and again then its a pattern.

Sad for cricket

straight point said...

utp...this is not going to be last time the way pcb functions...they need genuine shake up in minds as well as body (the pcb)...

straight point said...

indeed wasim, if same mistakes are repeated again and again...it not only shows the pattern it also shows how much they care for cricket which bringing them all the comforts and laurels...

shame...

Hi,

PCB has to take some serious steps towards this so that in future no other player will do that again, Mohd ASIF is a very good player He started his career in good fashion and he became the main bowler of the team ,but he himself ruin this career with this type of incidents...

straight point said...

Hi CU...welcome and thanks for dropping by...
