It takes a really undisciplined bowler to overstep time and again the way Ishant does. This isn't a problem he's developed overnight and the onus is on him to do whatever is needed to correct it. He's not a bloody 10-year old who doesn't know where the crease is. He has the option of going back to domestic cricket or the NCA to work on his mechanics and his fitness but will he exercise it? He's an adult and you can't expect the management to make his decisions for him. Ditto for Harbhajan whose bowling is as incisive as his ridiculous sound bytes.

The argument about his bowling in nets is quite speculative. We don't see how he bowls in the nets so we can't really say. If the comments of the former bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad are anything to go by, Ishant actually works really hard in the nets.Mahekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01036231713500207408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9153707640015765540.post-9439248798452121852010-10-01T20:30:38.176+05:302010-10-01T20:30:38.176+05:30I guess the appeal to pick Ishant and Bhajji was p...I guess the appeal to pick Ishant and Bhajji was partly due to the fact that the oppositions are Australia and Ponting (their favourite bunny) is the captain...

We set too much store by the past records despite reiterating before every match that it's a new day, new match, fresh start, blah blah blah...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16733104559445244259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9153707640015765540.post-77345326904902572542010-10-01T18:53:32.847+05:302010-10-01T18:53:32.847+05:30mithun?
