But they only played in 16 Tests in India in that time. And nine of these came in 1979-80 (Hughes's WSC-depleted team) and Border in 1986, both unrepresentative of Australia's strength.

http://yellowmonkeysbananabucket.blogspot.com/2008/11/final-frontier-not-as-elusive-as-it.html

However, this Australian team wasn't so good. I don't think a fielding coach can teach people to catch well, especially in slips. Someone like RD who is close to a world record doesn't have to be taught and slip catches are reflex based and I don't think RS can make an impact there. Where he has made an impact is in the ground fielding. I see two Indian players running to the boundary these days with one going for the pick up and relay and the other one throwing it back. These sortsa things were rare with Indian fielders earlier and now we can see a lot of it.Prabuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00056339173473012825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9153707640015765540.post-86845216185432821202008-11-10T19:15:00.000+05:302008-11-10T19:15:00.000+05:30it seems they have completely 'lost' it OTT :)it seems they have completely 'lost' it OTT :)straight pointhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08309030423887849171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9153707640015765540.post-75993296225021678232008-11-10T18:51:00.000+05:302008-11-10T18:51:00.000+05:30Border-Gavaskar Trophy is back and how. :)Border-Gavaskar Trophy is back and how. :)Viswanathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03511419586643916500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9153707640015765540.post-68071005591483961362008-11-10T17:58:00.000+05:302008-11-10T17:58:00.000+05:30SB...you never know with yuvi...his form is as unp...SB...

you never know with yuvi...his form is as unpredictable as he is predictable with his attitude...straight pointhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08309030423887849171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9153707640015765540.post-77167603247205560702008-11-10T17:57:00.000+05:302008-11-10T17:57:00.000+05:30This comment has been removed by the author.straight pointhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08309030423887849171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9153707640015765540.post-22357571506387565172008-11-10T17:56:00.000+05:302008-11-10T17:56:00.000+05:30yup GB...a thoroughly deserved indeed...cheers!yup GB...a thoroughly deserved indeed...

cheers!straight pointhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08309030423887849171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9153707640015765540.post-9627979636430678712008-11-10T17:47:00.000+05:302008-11-10T17:47:00.000+05:30I'll keep an eye on Monty.Shah could be troublesom...I'll keep an eye on Monty.

Shah could be troublesome and Samit Patel in ODIs.

One wishes Yuvraj were in great form...we need him in the ODIs.Soulberryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15830619858224129215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9153707640015765540.post-79823445578201120402008-11-10T17:38:00.000+05:302008-11-10T17:38:00.000+05:30Well done India thoroughly deserved the victory.Well done India thoroughly deserved the victory.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9153707640015765540.post-77247680036735218182008-11-10T16:39:00.000+05:302008-11-10T16:39:00.000+05:30...and this win has increased my appetite so i tak......and this win has increased my appetite so i take all of what you have mentioned :))straight pointhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08309030423887849171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9153707640015765540.post-88174158506720414162008-11-10T16:38:00.000+05:302008-11-10T16:38:00.000+05:30cheers SB dude!! :)yes thats why i said we not onl...cheers SB dude!! :)

yes thats why i said we not only dominated them on field but their minds as well...

eng has much more varied attack than oz at the moment and they wont be easy...but in a way i am happy that we wont be playing test straight away...coz we can get complacent very easily...straight pointhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08309030423887849171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9153707640015765540.post-57112086253905617612008-11-10T16:24:00.000+05:302008-11-10T16:24:00.000+05:30What do you prefer Pan?Ishant if MoS and Mishraji ...What do you prefer Pan?

Ishant if MoS and Mishraji is a spitting viper...laddoos, halwa, jamuns, barfi, jalebi or Dada's rasogollas!Soulberryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15830619858224129215noreply@blogger.com
