please let BCCI know in advance from next match onwards what type of wicket should be prepared which will inflate your records as well as egos...and BCCI with all its 'power' will make it sure all boards succumb to your wish...

will we see less of these?for some reason i was watching match live as well as keeping one tab open with cricinfo live commentary...
and here is what i found there as comment...which to me shows another aspect of review system...

i fully endorse this comment...
it will slowly but surely eliminate theatrical appeals used to pressurize umps...knowing at back of your mind that even if you get the decision in your favor, it will definitely be reviewed...
needless to say that this will definitely ease pressure on umpires and in turn we will see more good decisions from them...
hence resulting in less referrals...?
another point to ponder to in favor of review system...
oh, i already see purist complaining about how they would be deprived of seeing theatrics on ground they are so used to of...
but isnt one goes to theaters for that?

will Fab-four be tamed?i have not sensed this type of buzz since the debut of sachin...for an individual player...
i wanted to title ind-sl series preview or something sort of that...but read everywhere...the series is already billed as our batsmen vs mendis...
so allow me also wash my hand of mendis bandwagon...
every where you read they are proclaiming how our batsmen will be under pressure of this cricket's latest mysterious threat...
agreed.
but they are forgetting to realize that mendis will be under more pressure...
all eyes will be on him...time will freeze as and when jayawardene will decide to toss bowl to him...
he has his suddenly acquired fame to defend...
everybody will be expecting wickets and only wickets of his alternate bowl...
for a young guy it will be the test of character...
what if wickets come in bundle? what if wickets wont come?
will he succumb to the pressure of expectations...or will we see a birth of new champion...?
lots of questions...the answer is about to unfold in couple of days...
my sole fear is that media will not spare him in either situation...
i just hope and pray that when the mystery of unknown unfolds... cricket will be winner...

they failed to curb, educate and discipline 'greats' like akhtars...asifs...
they have let down all of us and specially pakistan's cricket loving people...to the point that pakistan cricket has become laughing stock now...
take back everything from them...
just eliminate them...cull them...

thank you all for the 'support' i received for my sachin post...
thanks again for proving that sachin is even beyond GOD coz god can be criticized...
though i expected some fatwas to be issued...but luckly...and thank SACHIN for that...i escaped largely intact...
so after learning lessons (SOM and OTT will vouch for that) i am moving on...from sachin's post...that is...
{sigh of relief}
suddenly...world is beautiful...and more importantly...peaceful again...

from ODIs i.e.
sachin, you have been god of cricket...you always will be...and i am your one of most ardent admirer if not biggest fan in the world...
you have already achieved what others can only dream of...and i don't see any one coming even close to you in future the way cricket is being played these days...specially in ODIs...
i know you are still enjoying cricket...we too are happy to see the same old sachin again...and we still cherish most recent CB series finals...
so where is the problem, you may ask...
look at our current odi team sachin...from distance...
sehwag and gambhir are not only cracking runs at breathtaking pace with some consistency but more so are enjoying each other company...the camaraderie is there like never before...
sehwag has found some much needed pause...while gambir is batting as if all bowlers are his enemies...and dispatching them from their presence...
but more importantly...they seems to have not only conquered bowlers but those lingering demons in their mind as well...not surprisingly the results are there to be seen to believe...
and there is the problem i talked about...
when you will return to ODI fold either of two will have to make way for you...
specially for you...for no fault of theirs...
as we all know how much you like opening in ODIs...
for you...accumulating more runs will only add to the never ending telly of boring statistics...like another dollar in bill gates account...
you don't need them to prove anything...you are already beyond that...
i know there is still one thing left in your overstuffed godawn of medals...
the world cup...
but see sachin...
first...it is another three years away...
and most importantly...
do you want team to get consumed so much in the thought of bringing world cup for you that it will be sort of nothing less than distraction to them...?
cant it be like that you keep thrashing oz for us in tests and we all keep on enjoying cricket like never before...the real cricket...?
i know your sponsors will not be happy with me for this...and i may get some serious thrashing from your other equally passionate fans across world...
but still...think over it...for once...please...
